With its third building under construction, Muir Lake Luxury Apartments offers a mix of apartment styles with spacious floor plans and top-of-the-line amenities and finishes.

Located at 2371 to 2395 N. Forest Rd. near Millersport Highway in Getzville, and situated on the south side of Muir Lake, these luxury three-story buildings house 90 apartments of various sizes showcasing one-, two- and three-bedroom units spread throughout each building.

The first two buildings — which began accepting residents in November — have 26 units each. The third building will have 38 units and overlooks the lake, according to a  leasing agent from Glendale Development, who handles the on-site management. It will be ready for occupancy in early spring.

Rental units range in size from 877 to 949 square feet of a one-bedroom unit; a two-bedroom/two-bath units from 1,012 to 1,203 square feet; and the three bedroom/two-bath design has 1,327 square feet. Rents range from $1,184 to $1,840.

There are eight different plans, including five two-bedroom designs. In-unit laundry, which includes the washer and dryer; wide doorway openings and hallways; and spacious closets are standout features.

Kitchens have stainless-steel appliances (dishwasher, range, microwave and refrigerator) and Quartz countertops. Carpeting and vinyl plank flooring are featured. Air conditioning, ceiling fans, window treatments and vertical blinds are standard.

There are separate storage units on each floor. Garages are available and included with the three-bedroom plan. There is also ample surface parking for residents and guest. The pet policy allows cats and small dogs.

Residents have access to the nearby Walton Pond Center’s clubhouse, pool and tennis/basketball courts. The community also has children’s playgrounds and walking and biking paths.

As for the convenience of location, the University at Buffalo’s North Campus is a short walk. Shopping, restaurants and everyday services in Amherst are readily available. There is easy access to major transportation routes (I-990 and I-290) as well as Millersport Highway.
